Norton & Sons is the 187-year old tailors at no. 16 Savile Row. A trip to Nortons means a bespoke suit, but for those who’s timelines (or budgets) don’t quite extend to bespoke, they’ve recently revived their old ready-to-wear brand E Tautz. For Tautz’s second collection (Spring 2010), they’ve collaborated with artist Quentin Jones on a rather strange and wonderfully quirky video which they presented for London Fashion Week. Nice to see that Norton’s Patrick Grant continues to shake things up on The Row.

We’ve seen a lot of solutions for reflective strips, but this is by far one of our favourites. It’s a beautiful lace embroidered with reflective thread — in a fun bicycle pattern — that you can sew on to the edges of your clothing. Made by hand in Scotland, from Lost Values. What a lovely, elegant solution!
